""Kurau" is both exciting and thought-provoking."

The first volume of a refreshinly original series is now available.  "Phantom Memory: Kurau" is also set in an ultra-modern world of the future.  The "victim" of a science experiment gone bad, Kurau is blessed with special powers she uses secretly as an odd-job agent-for-hire.  When the loner Kurau's "pair" arrives, everything must change.  It's nice seeing a strong female character who doesn't rely on her sexuality to get what she wants, and despite the futuristic setting, Kurau's dilemmas feel very real and now.  "Kurau" is both exciting and thought-provoking.
