SUPER DIMENSION FORTRESS MACROSS: DANGEROUS DIVSIONS (VOL. 3)
After a shocking display of weakness and confusion from the powerful Zentradi during their interrogation, Hikaru, Misa, Maximilian, and Kakizaki plan a daring escape that would bring them back to the Macross. While the Macross forges on with its perilous journey back to Earth, the crew and civilians are unaware of what lies ahead when they return.
While still confused about what they've witnessed, Misa and Hikaru both theorize as to why the Zentradi are so interested with the Macross and humans. With that, the Zentradi covertly send three soldiers-turned-Miclones to investigate the humans on board the ship. And after a long and tiring space journey, the Macross finally reaches earth. However, they return only to be unwelcomed by the higher military brass since they inadvertently brought the enemy assault with them, endangered the entire world, and eventually put Hikaru's life in a grim situation.
Dangerous Divisions also marks the halfway point of the series. A recap of the first half of the series is put into a report by Captain Global in an entire episode. This volume also introduces Lynn Minmay's cousin, Lynn Kaifun, who is against violence and the military and has a profound effect on Misa and Hikaru's relationship with Minmay.
EXTRAS:More Mari Iijima, as "On Stage with Mari Iijima" highlights her career as a musician. There is also commentary by ADR director Matt Greenfield and Ms. Iijima, and Liner Notes, Clean Opening Animation, ADV Previews, and DVD Credits to round out the Extras section of this volume.
