Secret Anime Project to Unveil at Otakon!

HOUSTON, August 17, 2005 ? At Otakon, the fall?s biggest anime convention, ADV Films will unveil an until-now secret anime project. The special screening will take place Saturday morning at the Baltimore Convention Center, immediately following the Gilgamesh featurette at 9am.

?All I can say about the sneak preview,? says ADV Films? President and CEO John Ledford, ?Is that we always knew Otakon was the perfect place to give the fans a peek at something we?re very excited about for the fall. Otakon?s the last blast of the year, and we were very excited to be a part of that and show something special.?

Marketing Director Anne Armogida teases there are even more reasons for fans to seek out the special screening: ?One or two of the biggest, most popular actors in anime will be at the convention, and they?ve graciously agreed to attend the sneak. But they?ll be in disguise. And even they?ve been sworn to secrecy.?

?It?s true,? admits an undisclosed actor. ?But I will say I haven?t been this excited about a show in a long time. I can?t think of a show that?s had so many seasoned anime actors and fan favorites in one show. I think this will be one of ADV?s biggest and most popular hits. It?s that good.?

The Gilgamesh featurette includes highlights from the hit series plus documentary footage on the making of the show. The secret project will be unveiled immediately afterwards. The screenings begin at 9am Saturday August 20th in Video Room 2. Seating is extremely limited.
