Cromartie High School Cast Announced

Takashi Kamiyama - Voiced by Ben Pronsky - 16 years old; the main character of the show. He goes to Cromartie High School, which is a collection of delinquents, but he's not really a delinquent. He?s rather a ?straight and narrow? character who dislikes violence. He becomes ?the strongest man in the class? by winning a moxa treatment competition (a kind of incense is burned at certain points, generally where there are pressure points, to treat maladies) and hopes to transfer to a better school.

Akira Maeda - Voiced by Andy McAvin - Another of Kamiyama?s classmates. He says he was tough in middle school, but since he dosen?t have a nick name, others say his past isn?t impressive. He often says sensible things, but since everyone else is stupid, they generally criticize the smart things he says.

Takeshi Hokuto - Voiced by Jason Douglas - Another of Kamiyama?s classmates. He transferred to Cromartie by accident. He thought he was transferring to a school that his father chairs. His father is very rich, and he uses his father?s influence to push people around. He has ruled 18 high schools before he transferred to Cromartie and hopes to rule Cromartie as well. He keeps telling lies to hide the fact that he transferred to a wrong school.

Shinjiro Hayashida - Voiced by Ilich Guardiola - One of Kamiyama?s classmates. He becomes a good friend to Kamiyama. He seems more like a typical delinquent than Kamiyama.

Shinichi Mechazawa - Voiced by Jay Hickman - He is in Year 1 Class 5. He is trusted and depended on by his classmates. He has a sober voice and speaks in a mature fashion, not really like a delinquent. He is not a human but a robot, although it seems nobody but Kamiyama and Hayashida realize this fact.

Yutaka Takenouchi - Voiced by John Gremillion - One of Kamiyama?s classmates. He commands the Year 1 studnets at Cromartie High. He gets motion sick easily. He likes going on field trips because he enjoys seeing things like temples. He?s rather smart and mature, despite his reputation as a ?badass,? he doesn?t really talk or think like a typical delinquent.

Noboru Yamaguchi - Voiced by James Faulkner - He's the boss of Year 1 at reival Destrade High School. People call him ?Silent Unsinkable Battleship? because he never loses a fight. He loves jokes and comedy, but nobody knows it. His secret hobby is to send in jokes he comes up with to late-night radio shows. He uses a pen-name of ?Ajishio Taro?.

Hokuto?s Lackey - Voiced by Greg Ayres - Another of Kamiyama?s classmates. He follows Hokuto around. For some reason, he hasn?t been able to tell his name to the others.

Pootan - Voiced by Mike MacRae - A character in a popular comedy show ?Pootan?. He wears something like a bunny suit and sometimes puts ?poo? at the end of sentences. He seems to be always calm. Despite his name and the way he looks, he has a mature and deep voice.

Pootan?s Buddy - Voiced by Rob Mungle - Pootan?s partner in a popular comedy show. He also wears a bunny-like suit. He is the opposite of Pootan, very talkative and energetic.
