Wandaba Style Cast List Announced

In Wandaba Style, Hanagata, an overly ambitious talent manager wanting to manage a hit, is trying to get a group of four young women ? Sakura, Himawari, Ayame, and Yuri ? to form a new singing group called, ?Mix Juice? and have them make their debut. Dr. Tsukumo, a genius child scientist, is trying to be the first person to create a spacecraft capable of going to the moon without using any environment polluting fossil fuels. When one of his many experiments goes awry, he looks for volunteer astronauts to take on the dangerous mission of traveling into outer space. Hanagata, wanting to make the girls he manages make a big splash no matter what the costs, agrees to allow the Mix Juice girls to be Dr. Tsukumo?s astronauts and their wacky adventures begin.

CHARACTERS:

Michael Hanagata - Voiced by Jason Douglas - An overly ambitious, self-proclaimed ?genius talent manager? with a blond afro. Seems to be about 30 years old but is actually 21. Claims to be Dutch.

Susumu Tsukumo - Voiced by Tiffany Grant - A child genius scientist who is attempting to place the first people on the moon without using any polluting fuels. Often comes up with brilliant devices which ultimately fail.

Kiku 8 - Voiced by Hilary Haag - An android in the shape of a little girl. To be more accurate, she is actually a satellite, made by Dr. Tsukumo, meant to orbit around a planet. She is solar powered so when there is no sunlight, there are times she shuts down.

Sakura Haruno - Voiced by Luci Christian - A former child star who still has the appearance of a very young girl. She is the oldest of the girls in the singing group, ?Mix Juice.? She is bothered by the fact she is not as young as her appearance makes her out to be. She has the tendency to insult others with snide comments.

Himawari Natsuwa - Voiced by Monica Rial - In terms of physical appearance, she conforms to the ?traditional Japanese woman? stereotype. She is an enka (traditional Japanese song) singer. She often goes ?into character? by singing a poem.

Ayame Akimo - Voiced by Nancy Novotny - A folk singer. She appears to be shy and often quiet. Has delusions of male fairies flying around her as support. She often talks to her ?fairies? as well.

Yuri Fuyude - Voiced by Kira Vincent Davis - A rock singer. She has a ?tough girl? demeanor.

Ichirin - Voiced by Jay Hickman - An artificially intelligent unicycle created by Dr. Tsukumo.

Station Manager - Voiced by Vic Mignogna - A TV station manager. Like the neighbor in, ?Home Improvement,? his mouth is never shown.

Ayame's Fairies - Voiced by John Swasey - A 'delusion' of Ayame, these male fairies stay near to support her.
