Anime Network Live Chat to be held at Anime News Network

Chris Nelson, who serves as Director of Programming for Anime Network will be the featured guest as Anime News Network re-launches its chat feature, on Wednesday, August 11, from 9-10:30 p.m. (ET). Anime Network, the first and only cable channel devoted exclusively to the world of anime, recently became the first cable channel to move from a strictly video-on-demand (VOD) format to a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week national network.
During the chat, Nelson, responsible for the development and management of the network?s programming schedule and overall on-air environment, will discuss the impetus for, and creation of, the network's cutting edge look and feel, new programming blocks and fan-friendly promotions. He will also offer an insider?s look into the challenges of starting a cable network, as well as a glimpse into future programming plans for the network, including exclusive plans for original programming.
Chat participants logging in and/or participating in the chat will also have exclusive access to view some of the network?s new on-air promotions spots (available in QuickTime).
