Kenshiro - Robert Kraft - The main character of the story. He is the only heir to Hokuto Shinken a style of martial arts passed down to only one person. He is a very serious character who does not speak much or show emotions but he actually has a kind heart. His most famous line is ?You?re already dead.?

Sanga - John Paul Shephard - Dictator of Last Land

Sara - Katie Gillette - She is called a ?woman of miracles.? She knows techniques of the Hokuto style the same one as Kenshiro and uses techniques of Hokuto Shinken to heal sick and injured people. She is kidnapped by Sanga who tries to use her as one of his gods in order to control people.

Tobi - Christopher Loveless - Tobi collects information and sells it to people. He helped people from the Village of Freedom find clean water. Although Sanga?s men killed those villagers who were at the well with Tobi he was saved by Kenshiro. He has a younger brother Bista who got separated from him in the chaos of the bombing a few years ago. He likes Sara maybe loves her.
