Gamera: Guardian of the Universe. A hit in theatrical and VHS release ADV?s DVD release of
Gamera: Guardian of the Universe will be available as a single disc or as a single disc with a custom art box designed to hold
Gamera: Guardian of the Universe and the two subsequent titles in the series-
Gamera 2: Attack of Legion and
Gamera 3: The Revenge of Iris (both forthcoming 2003 from ADV Films).
Gamera: Guardian of the Universe was directed by Shusuke Kaneko from a screenplay by Kazunori Ito screenwriter of the legendary anime film
Ghost in the Shell. The cast includes Ayako Fujitani daughter of action star Steven Seagal in her motion picture debut.
The Story: A plan to dump radioactive waste at sea is disrupted when a mysterious atoll appears at the dumping location.
