Salon.com looks at Pulgasari

Salon.com features a fascinating article about South Korean film director Shin Sang-Ok. Shin directed the monster flick Pulgasari (available on VHS from ADV Films) in 1985. What?s interesting about this is Shin claims he was kidnapped by North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il and forced to produce the movie as propaganda for the Korean Workers Party.
