HOUSTON March 20 2003?ADV Films today announced a release date of June 17 2003 for the Genesis Climber Mospeada collection containing all 25 episodes of the legendary series in one package. Never before released in the U.S. Genesis Climber Mospeada was the source material from which the third chapter of the ROBOTECH saga?ROBOTECH: The New Generation?was created. The ADV Films release of Genesis Climber Mospeada is available only in the original Japanese with English subtitles.

While the directorial staff is led by none other than Katsuhisa Yamada (Battle of the Planets Devil Hunter Yohko) Genesis Climber Mospeada is no slouch in the art department either with Yoshitaka Amano (1001 Nights) and Shinji Aramaki (Gasaraki) among the designers.

The Story
The Earth has been invaded by the mysterious Inbit and it?s up to a handful of survivors from Mars Colony to liberate the planet. After an unsuccessful first attempt to retake the Earth the inhabitants of Mars Base are ready to try again. Unfortunately it?s been many years since they have been to Earth and they miscalculate both the strength of the enemy and the strength of the Earth forces?with disastrous results. When the Second Liberation force is all but wiped out entering the Earth?s atmosphere the fate of the planet winds up in the hands of a single survivor Stick Bernard. Joined by a bare handful of resistance fighters born on Earth Stick must journey to the Inbit?s headquarters at Reflex point in an attempt to discover the secrets of the Inbit and find a way to defeat them. FOURTH VOLUME OF SMASH-HIT ANIME SERIES TO BE AVAILABLE JUNE 24 2003

HOUSTON March 20 2003?ADV Films today announced a release date of June 24 2003 for NOIR: Death Warrant the fourth DVD volume of the widely acclaimed huge-selling anime thriller.

The series which premiered in Japan in 2001 was directed by Koichi Mashimo (Dirty Pair Dominion). Viewers praise NOIR?s spectacular animation the use of music its exotic settings (largely in western Europe) and an enduringly complex storyline based on a relationship between a duo of female assassins who cannot trust one another but who need each other to survive. Critics have favorably compared NOIR to such genre-defining live-action suspense films as The Professional and La Femme Nikita.

The story:
In a world where no one is what they seem faith and trust become the key objectives and ultimate goal. Driven by the machinations of the mysterious Chloe Altena and an all new crime family Kirika and Mireille must fight for their lives both at home and abroad as the action explodes across the globe. Yet even as the mystery surrounding the origins of Noir slowly begins to give up its clues the two assassins find themselves being driven apart both by conflicting emotions and by conflicting goals. THIRD VOLUME OF SERIES TO BE AVAILABLE JUNE 17 2003

HOUSTON March 20 2003?ADV Films today set a release date of June 17 2003 for the DVD release of Crying Freeman: Abduction in Chinatown the third and final volume of the gripping six-episode anime series telling the tortured story of a brainwashed contract killer at once brilliantly lethal and stricken by remorse.

Based on the critically acclaimed manga series written by Kazuo Koike (Lone Wolf and Cub) and illustrated by Ryoichu Ikegami (Sanctuary Strain) Crying Freeman?s extraordinary production pedigree includes direction by Daisuke Nishio (Dragon Ball) and Shigenori Yamauchi (Saint Seiya). Of particular note in this volume is the fact that the second of the two episodes in the volume had never before been dubbed into English and boasts an all-new English-language script by the legendary Carl Macek (ROBOTECH Doomed Megalopolis).

The Story:
A bold kidnapping foreshadows a desperate plan by the lusty female leader of a deadly army of mercenaries. FIFTH VOLUME OF CLASSIC ANIME TITLE DIRECTED BY THE LEGENDARY GO NAGAI SET FOR DVD RELEASE ON JUNE 24 2003

HOUSTON March 20 2003?ADV Films has set a street date of June 24 2003 for the DVD release of The Devil Lady: The Gathering the fifth volume of director Go Nagai?s classic horror series.

Nagai an elder statesman in the world of anime and manga is the renowned creator of such anime touchstones as Getter Robo Mazinger Z and Grandizer and the Devilman series from which The Devil Lady sprung. The Devil Lady was adapted by Toshihiro Hirano (director of Vampire Princess Miyu) and writer Chiako Konaka.

The Story:
In a desperate attempt to stave off the encroaching Devil Beast incursion mankind responds with a typically crude escalation of global military might. But man?s ignorance may defeat all the grand plans of advanced technology and massive armaments.
