Mutant X stars John Shea as ?Adam? leader of a group of reluctant heroes unwitting victims of genetic experimentation with astonishing and sometimes deadly powers. They are thrust into situations and secret missions to help others when conventional methods have failed.
Mutant X: Season One Disc 1 includes two complete episodes: ?The Shock of the New? and ?I Scream the Body Electric.?
Mutant X was recently nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Syndicated/Cable TV series. The Saturn Awards are given annually by Cinescape magazine and the Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy and Horror Films. Members of the Academy vote on nominees and recipients of the awards which recognize the best science fiction fantasy horror action adventure and thriller genre work done in film television and on DVD.

The Genetic Security Agency controlled by the maniacal Mason Eckhart will stop at nothing to capture emerging mutants. Emma comes to acknowledge her own ?telempathic? power and joins the Mutant X team to save her friend Brennan.
