HOUSTON April 4 2003?Adding to an already expansive list of Stateside anime premieres ADV Films today announced that the firm will release the 49-episode anime classic
Aura Battler Dunbine in the summer of 2003. Carl Macek producer of
ROBOTECH Doomed Megalopolis and numerous other essential anime titles is in mid-production in the studio at this writing.
Aura Battler Dunbine first broadcast in Japan in the mid 1980?s is widely considered one of the finest and most significant titles from the ?golden age? of televised anime. Conceived by Yoshiyuki Tomino (creator and director of
Gundam) and based on Tomino?s novel

ADV Films has not yet officially announced a release date for the first volume of
Aura Battler Dunbine but the company has confirmed that the first volume of the title is expected in July.
