HOUSTON May 2 2003?ADV Films today announced a July 22 2003 release for Mutant X: Season One Disc 2 the second DVD volume of the hit syndicated television series Mutant X. Produced in association with Tribune Entertainment Marvel Studios and Fireworks Entertainment Mutant X stars John Shea as ?Adam? leader of a group of reluctant heroes unwitting victims of genetic experimentation with astonishing and sometimes deadly powers. They are thrust into situations and secret missions to help others when conventional methods have failed. Mutant X: Season One Disc 2 includes two complete episodes: ?Russian Roulette? and ?Fool for Love.?

Mutant X was recently nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Syndicated/Cable TV series. The Saturn Awards are given annually by Cinescape magazine and the Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy and Horror Films. Members of the Academy vote on nominees and recipients of the awards which recognize the best science fiction fantasy horror action adventure and thriller genre work done in film television and on DVD.

It?s love at first fight! Shalimar falls hard for a handsome research scientist who has developed an experimental serum to reverse genetic mutations.

Gene Roddenberry?s Andromeda is based on writings of the legendary writer and producer Gene Roddenberry creator of the enormously successful ?Star Trek? series franchise. The series is produced by Andromeda Productions Ltd. in association with Tribune Entertainment Company and Fireworks Entertainment Inc.

Gene Roddenberry?s Andromeda boasts a large devoted fan base and is proving to be a prolific source for merchandising licenses with action figures trading cards calendars and other items being produced by top manufacturers.
