Carl Macek at Another SDCC Panel?

The Prophet hears through the ADV grapevine that Carl Macek is on tap to make an appearance on yet another panel at the San Diego Comic-con International this week. In addition to the Lady Death panel (Saturday August 3 1 ? 2 p.m. Room 8) sources tell me he?s set to pop up on the ?25 Years of Anime and Manga Fandom? panel (Thursday August 1 5:30 ? 6:30 p.m. Room 7B) moderated by anime historian Fred Patten. Considering the scope of Carl?s accomplished career ? developing Robotech for Harmony Gold bringing Akira to the U.S. as owner and President of Streamline Pictures dubbing classic anime titles such as Crying Freeman and Vampire Hunter D plus lots more ? this panel sounds like it?s going to be a must-see event for anime fans.
