HOUSTON June 9 2003?ADV Films today announced an August 26 2003 release date for the first volume of the Mazinkaiser OVA series the latest tie-in to legendary director Go Nagai?s mecha classic Mazinger Z. Nagai an elder statesman in the world of anime and manga is the renowned creator of such anime touchstones as Getter Robo Grandizer the Devilman series and The Devil Lady. His Mazinger Z was the first-ever anime or manga robot piloted by a human and the title is credited with launching the super-robot era of 1970s anime.

Mazinkaiser has since its 2001 release in Japan earned richly deserved kudos as a stylish old-school update on the giant robot genre and U.S. fans have been anticipating ADV Films? release for months.

The Story:
Dr. Hell has resurrected an ancient army of mechanical monsters to conquer the world but first he has to destroy the photon power lab and the one thing standing in his way: Mazinger! The Story:

Originally created as a companion to the Playstation game and a follow-up to the OVA Zone of the Enders?IDOLO Zone of the Enders?Dolores I is set in a distant future in which human colonization of Earth?s solar system extends to Mars and beyond and relationships between the humans on different colonies are decidedly hostile.

The Story:

HOUSTON June 9 2003?ADV Films has set a street date of September 2 2003 for the home video release of Medabots: Medabots to the Tournament the eleventh volume of the must-see ABC Family animated series. ADV plans concurrent release of both VHS and DVD versions of Medabots: Medabots to the Tournament.

Medabots directed by Katsuhisa Yamada (Battle of the Planets Devil Hunter Yohko) is a major franchise in Japan with sales of comic books toys video games and other licensed merchandise in the millions. In America television ratings are strong and merchandise from major vendors such as Hasbro Topps NTD Apparel and Serious USA is selling briskly.

The Story:
