Mospeada Drops Tomorrow!

It?s an essential title in the modern history of anime and it?s an absolute blast to watch: a great story terrific mecha (don?t say you don?t want Mospeada Ride Armor nobody believes you) it was the source for the third chapter of Robotech and it?s never been released in its entirety to the U.S.

These are plenty of reasons to buy so we went further. ADV Films spent months remastering Genesis Climber Mospeada and the results are eye-popping. Mark Williams ADV Films? Executive in Charge of Production said ?We worked very hard to ensure that the remastering was respectful by which I mean that we restored Mospeada to the way it was originally filmed and didn?t overprocess or neutralize its distinctive character. It?s a cel animation title and we wanted it to look that way. We wanted the result to be as though the viewer was watching the first showing of a virgin print of the film.?

The critics have responded with enthusiasm to both the quality of the remastering and the story itself. These reviews from Anime Jump and Anime-Reviews are typical. Chris Beveridge at Anime on DVD wrote ?I think the fans are going to be in for a real shock at how gorgeous the new prints ADV got for this show turned out.?
