ADV Films a leading distributor of Japanese animation in North America today announced an October 21 2003 release date for Saint Seiya: The Power of the Cosmos Lies Within first volume of the highly anticipated fantasy-action anime series and U.S. DVD premiere of the title.

The Saint Seiya series an epic tale that became a sensation with fans in Japan after its original release has been widely anticipated by the growing number of anime fans in the U.S. The series which was acquired domestically by DIC Entertainment is based on a manga by Masami Kurumada and produced by one of the top animation studios Toei Animation (Digimon Sailor Moon Dragon Ball).

Saint Seiya: The Power of the Cosmos Lies Within is available in a Collector?s Edition including a custom art box sized to hold the first five volumes of the series.

The Story:
The cosmos is bound together by an incomprehensible web of strength power and?some would even say?magic. And only by a select few may these forces be harnessed!
