ANIME NETWORK ROLLOUT CONTINUES ON COMCAST Unique Programming Service Expands With ON DEMAND
Houston TX September 15 2003?The Anime Network the first channel in the nation dedicated to anime is expanding its reach rolling out its content in Baltimore and parts of New England as part of Comcast ON DEMAND Comcast?s video-on-demand service. The announcement was made today by Kevin Corcoran President of Anime Network.
As Comcast extends its ON DEMAND service to its Digital Cable customers it also is including content from Anime Network as part of its lineup of programming available at no additional charge. Approximately 25 hours of Anime Network are currently available to ON DEMAND customers in the greater Philadelphia central and northern New Jersey and Baltimore areas as well as in portions of New England. ON DEMAND is expected to be available in additional markets by the end of the year.
