ANIME NETWORK ON DEMAND ARRIVES ON TIME WARNER CABLE
Start-up Japanese Animation Channel Launching on Time Warner Cable's
iControl Interactive Platform
Houston TX September 30 2003--Anime Network the first television channel in North America dedicated to Japanese animation today announced the network's launch on Time Warner Cable's iControl interactive platform for video on demand service in select major markets. Anime Network's eye-grabbing Japanese animated content will begin rolling out to viewers in November. Anime Network President Kevin Corcoran made the announcement.

Since its late 2002 launch on the East Coast with program offerings in science fiction action drama and martial arts/horror genres including such hit shows as
Full Metal Panic Saiyuki Final Fantasy: Unlimited and
Noir Anime Network has attracted outstanding viewing levels and buy rates. Japanese animated content has strong appeal to the coveted tech-savvy 18-34-year-old male demographic-exactly the viewers that Time Warner aims for with its digital iControl service.
Additional Availability Besides this deal with Time Warner Cable Anime Network has carriage agreements in place with RCN (in greater Philadelphia) Comcast OnDemand (in Philadelphia New Jersey Baltimore and the Boston area) for free video-on-demand programming and on Cablevision's $6.95 per month subscription VOD Interactive Optimum (iO) service in the New York metropolitan area. Additionally Anime Network and iN DEMAND the nation's leading provider of VOD and PPV programming have an agreement under which Anime Network will provide anime content in High-Definition on iN DEMAND's suite of 24-hour linear High-Definition channels INHD and INHD2 beginning this fall.
