Anime Expo Acquisitions
Day Two of Anime Expo 2003 is in full swing and the full-to-capacity ADV Acquisitions Panel has just wrapped up. As always the assembled throngs were dazzled by Matt Greenfield and David L. Williams? presentation and thrilled at all the news (and the giveaways of course?)
Numerous anime acquisitions were announced:
Kino?s Journey (along with the launch of the official English-language site for the title:

Slayers Premium
Gravion
Mahou Yugi;
Birth;
Bast of Lemon;
Mani Mani;
Azumanga Daioh movie (another short film);
D.N.Angel; and a last-minute addition: the
RahXephon Movie!
In addition the twosome dropped the official word on the launch of ADV?s new publishing division (imminent underway NOW) and a string of newly licensed manga and art-book titles including:

Full Metal Panic! film book;

Najica. As far as release dates on these first ADV manga releases the first of them will be coming in a matter of months?and not many months at that?
