PRODUCTION UPDATE AND A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF LEGEND OF THE MYSTICAL NINJA

I think it?s about time you fans of THE MYSTICAL NINJA heard a little about what?s been going on here at ADV Films.

With the release date of December 30 2003 for the first volume of THE MYSTICAL NINJA just one of the milestones we have crossed has been the fact that we will have finished recording the entire series BEFORE IT EVEN HITS THE STREETS!

Another thing to note is that myself along with the cast and crew of THE MYSTICAL NINJA have had an absolute BLAST recording this show. When I cast this series I had no idea the type of excitement and synergy this group of people would create. I must say that these very experience actors quickly realized that we had a real gem here. This show is funny! There is an underlying humor that has been brought to the surface with the magic only this could have created.

As a Producer/Director when I started this series from scratch I had to decide whether to dictate what the performances would be or let them breathe. I learned quickly that these quality actors were more than willing to collaborate on every aspect of their performances so it was a ?no brainer? to distribute the ownership of the creative process.

I think this series is going to surprise a bunch of people. It may not be as ?cutting edge? as some cartoons but the close attention that is paid to friendship family values and good vs. evil shines brightly. Besides the wit of writer Dan Dietz and my faithful ADR engineer Matt Crawford (who is also into theater sound design) I have made sure that some of the very subtle things like crowd scenes and ?foley sounds? maintain the humor of the series.

I wanted the viewer to gain some insight into just how much fun we?re having so I sent some of the key players a list of questions and got some very candid answers.
