The Prophet's Rumor Mill

The Prophet here reporting to you from deep in the bowels of ADV Central. It?s been a slow week as far as news is concerned so your ol? pal?s going to use vague rumor-mongering in a shameless attempt to fill space and drive web traffic. Let?s take a look at what we can dig up shall we?

Street dates for the first volume of ADV?s home video release of Farscape Season Three are scheduled to be released any day now. But hark! Could a change in release format be announced along with the dates? Could we finally see the return of the much-underrated Betamax? Or will ADV release each episode on View-Master slides? Probably not but a slight format change is coming?

Remember back in October when it was announced that those wacky folks at Dreamwave Productions were teaming up with ADV to produce lithographs and posters featuring Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040? My spies tell me that the Canadian comics publisher and Texas? coolest anime producers are close to putting the ink on a contract that would allow the two to team up on another project? one that fans may not expect but should be extremely cool nonetheless. Nothing is set in stone and both sides are keeping mum until the deal is final but stay tuned?
