Gene Roddenberry?s Andromeda is based on writings of the legendary writer and producer Gene Roddenberry creator of the enormously successful ?Star Trek? series franchise. The series is produced by Andromeda Productions Ltd. in association with Tribune Entertainment Company and Fireworks Entertainment Inc.
Gene Roddenberry?s Andromeda boasts a large devoted fan base and is proving to be a prolific source for merchandising licenses with action figures apparel trading cards calendars and other items being produced by top manufacturers. For the first time in the home-video release of the beloved series Season Two of
Gene Roddenberry?s Andromeda will be released on DVD only and will be available both as two-DVD sets and as single discs. The first release from Season Two includes Gene Roddenberry?s Andromeda Volume 2.1-a two-DVD set including five episodes plus extras-and single-disc releases:
