Kyouta Kamikurata - Voiced by CHRIS PATTON - a junior in high school. Yoriko's childhood friend; she is one of the most important people in his life. People take it as given that they are dating. He lives above the family business a convenience store. His dream is to become a pro musician rather than go to college. He is a vocalist harmonica player & lyricist for the popular street band ""Traffic Light Signal"". He tends to accept things in stride and sometimes even without question to the extent that he often seems oblivious or passive.

Yoriko Sannou ? Voiced by MONICA RIAL - She is a college student two years older than Kyouta. She is Kyouta's childhood friend and she is probably in love with him. She is an only child. She almost never exerts much control beyond a little nagging of Kyouta.

Shingo Hirota ? Voiced by VIC MIGNONGA - He is T.L. Signal's guitarist and music-writer. He?s older than his fellow band members but often acts younger with an aura of ridiculousness about him. He lives in an apartment with Jun his best friend and opposite. He is very masculine with a punk appearance. He is quick to get excited but also quick to apologize or forgive. He has a healthy sense of humor and a healthy ego. He is very personable and speaks familiarly with everyone. He is sort of what you would get if you crossed Sanosuke from Ruroni Kenshin with Shaggy from Scooby Doo.

Junichi Kojima ? Voiced by GREG AYRES - He is T.L. Signal's keyboardist. He is Shingo's best friend and opposite. He is the practical ""mom"" figure of the group (he cooks he cleans...). He is not prone to expressing excessive emotion but he does have a sense of humor or at least of irony. He doesn't say much when compared to his bandmates but he both knows a lot and cares a lot.

Misato Yukimura ? Voiced by CHRISTINE AUTEN - She is head of the talent production agency Cosmopop. She signs T.L. Signal on Ryuusei's recommendation but the true motives behind this are unknown. She is extremely competent the kind of woman who inspires fear and respect. She is capable of getting her way while killing people with her politeness. She has a way of making most things seem like either orders or threats (or both).

Keiji Abuto ? Voiced by ANDY MCAVIN - He works for IJF as Kanae's manager. He is selfish and violent as a master and as a man. He is jealous of Kyouta.

Ryuusei - Voiced by JAY HICKMAN - a mysterious personage about whom little is known. He has recently became one of the most famous singers in Japan. He prods Kyouta into becoming a better singer for motives unknown.

Yui ? Voiced by KELLY MANISON - She is a powerful member of E.G.O. capable of influencing people's actions. She pulls an unwitting Asumi's strings several times. Lemon is her apprentice. She has a day job as a librarian at a girls' school. She wants Kyouta for his powers.

Lemon - Voiced by LUCI CHRISTIAN - a student at a girls' high school. She is precocious often perky and not afraid to speak her mind. She seems to have no particular morals.

Rumiko - Voiced by SASHA PAYSINGER - Yoriko's cousin. She loves Yoriko like a sister and lives with Yoriko at the shrine. She is still in middle school but wise and composed beyond all belief for that age.

Asumi Hougetsu - Voiced by KIRA VINCENT DAVIS - She?s in Kyouta's class at school. She is a cool-tempered good-student type who doesn't talk overmuch (seemingly the exact opposite of her friend Kiriko). She has never said anything to Kyouta in class before but starts spending a lot of time with Kyouta when she is taken in by the same production company.

Dad - Voiced by ROB MUNGLE - Kyouta's father. His real name is Naoyuki Kamikurata but he is universally referred to as ""Dad"". With Mom he owns a convenience store above which the family lives. He is not very with it.

Kanae Morino - Voiced by MARIELA ORTIZ - She is currently the most popular female idol (star) around. Early in the first episode Kyouta is seen buying her newest CD. She sets the fashions for the Shibuya gals of this world. She is under Abuto's control both practically and psychologically; she is jealous of his attention and seems to be in some kind of love with him. She hates Yoriko passionately as a rival. She spends a lot of time flirting with Kyouta under direction from Abuto (who wants to separate him from Yoriko).

Kiriko Heguri ? Voiced by TIFFANY GRANT - She is a student at Kyouta's school. She is a year younger than Kyouta and Asumi. She is both bright and exuberant she also has avery childlike personality at times. She has fallen very hard for Kyouta and tends to be simultaneously giddy and whiny when talking about him (her favorite subject). She frequently hangs out with Asumi. They seem to have a pre-established though unlikely friendship.

Mom - Voiced by MARCY BANNOR - Kyouta's mother. Her real name is Keiko Kamikurata but she is universally referred to as ""Mom"". She is also not very with it.

Tachibana ? To Be Cast - The director of the movie Yoriko stars in. He is a gruff I-know-everything type man. He really likes to yell at people.
